Oscar is an award-winning UK Chartered Accountant advising high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and internationally mobile families. With over 20 years’ experience and professional qualifications in the UK, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand, he brings a truly international perspective to cross-border tax planning, wealth structuring, and strategic financial management.

Trained at a top 10 UK accounting firm, Oscar leads Oscar Ip & Co. with a focus on compliance, technology-enabled efficiency, and value-added advisory. He is passionate about delivering practical, forward-thinking solutions that help clients protect and grow their wealth in the UK and overseas.

Outside of work, Oscar enjoys reading, community networking, and discovering the finest culinary experiences with his family.

Office Manager

Liverpool

Ka Yu graduated from Liverpool John Moores University and joined Oscar Ip & Co. in 2010, bringing with her over 10 years of experience working in local government. As Office Manager, she plays a key role in keeping the firm running smoothly behind the scenes. She oversees day-to-day office operations and supports coordination among our internal teams, ensuring everything is organised and efficient. Ka Yu is known for her calm and approachable nature, helping to maintain a supportive work environment. Outside of work, she enjoys watching TV, light exercise, and spending time with her family and their dog.

Team Leader

Liverpool

Olivia joined Oscar Ip & Co. in 2019 after completing her A Levels. Since then, she has progressed through the firm, completing her AAT qualification and currently studying towards her ACA. Her dedication and growth mindset have seen her rise to the role of Team Leader, where she oversees a portfolio of clients and supports junior staff in developing their skills.

Olivia specialises in accounts preparation, VAT compliance, and company tax filings. She ensures work is delivered accurately and on time, while also assisting with staff training and workflow planning. Her structured and supportive leadership style helps maintain high service standards within the team.

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys dancing—ranging from tap and ballet to modern and jazz—as well as singing, travelling, and keeping active at the gym.

Team Leader

Birmingham

Eva joined Oscar Ip & Co. in 2022, bringing with her several years of experience in both audit and accounting practice. After initially working in our Liverpool office, she returned to Birmingham in 2025 to lead our new regional team.

Eva holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from Aston University and has built a strong foundation in statutory accounts, VAT compliance, payroll processing, and self-assessment tax returns. She manages a varied client portfolio and supports the delivery of accurate, timely, and practical accounting solutions. In her leadership role, she also supervises junior team members and ensures internal processes are followed to a high standard.

Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Eva is a key point of contact for our Midlands-based clients. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, travelling, and spending time with friends.

Accounts & Tax Team

Liverpool

Mei Bei joined Oscar Ip & Co. in 2024 following several years in industry-based finance roles, where she developed strong skills in ledger management, budgeting, and operational finance. She is currently studying towards the ACA-CTA joint qualification, with a particular interest in UK personal and business taxation.

At the firm, Mei Bei supports the accounts and tax team with statutory accounts, VAT compliance, and tax return preparation. Her commercial experience allows her to approach client work with practical insight and attention to detail.

Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Mei Bei is a valued part of our multilingual team, offering accessible support to a broad client base. Outside of work, she enjoys shooting sports and finds it a great way to stay calm and focused.

Trainee Accountant

Accounts & Tax Team

Leanne joined Oscar Ip & Co. in 2019 after completing her degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Salford. She has worked across several areas within the firm, including payroll processing, administrative support to the Managing Director, and client communications. Her broad experience has given her a strong foundation in practice operations.

Leanne is currently training towards her ACA qualification and focuses on preparing statutory accounts, managing VAT compliance, and assisting with corporation and personal tax matters. She is known for her efficiency, calm under pressure, and her proactive approach to solving problems.

Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, Leanne supports both local and international clients. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, watching films, and discovering new cultures.

Business Development Manager

Liverpool

Charles joined Oscar Ip & Co. in 2024 with over 15 years of experience in international sales and client management. He previously studied a Bachelor of Business programme at The University of Southern Queensland. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, he manages new client enquiries, discovery calls, and service onboarding, ensuring smooth handovers to our Accounts and Tax Teams.

Charles also leads our marketing and business development efforts, building relationships with banks, estate agents, solicitors and the wider Chinese-speaking community. He oversees client feedback, social media, and reporting on growth and client retention.

Outside of work, Charles enjoys travelling with his family.

Operations & Payroll Specialist

Liverpool

Lynn joined Oscar Ip & Co. in 2023, bringing with her over a decade of experience in customer-facing and administrative roles. She plays a key part in supporting our Payroll Team and overseeing day-to-day office operations, ensuring tasks are handled efficiently and deadlines met.

Known for her organisational skills and reliability, Lynn assists with payroll coordination, internal systems, and administrative processes across the firm. She helps maintain smooth internal workflows and provides operational support to the management team.

Outside of work, Lynn enjoys going to the gym and spending time with friends.

Front Office Specialist

Liverpool

Lily joined Oscar Ip & Co. in 2022, bringing over 8 years of customer service experience across international banking and travel brands. She is known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to engage confidently with clients from diverse backgrounds.

In her role, Lily supports both the Business Development and Operations teams. She manages client onboarding, account setup, and front office coordination, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all new and existing clients. Her organised and friendly approach contributes to the firm’s reputation for excellent service.

Outside of work, Lily enjoys spending time with friends and family and takes pride in creating a warm, stylish home.

Accounts & Tax Team

Liverpool

Joshua joined Oscar Ip & Co. in 2024 and is currently studying towards his AAT qualification. As an apprentice accountant, he supports the Accounts and Tax Team with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and preparing client records, gaining valuable hands-on experience as he develops his professional skills.

With a strong work ethic and a background in hospitality, Joshua is organised, reliable, and confident working with both colleagues and clients. He is committed to becoming a well-rounded and trusted accounting professional.

Outside of work, Joshua enjoys going to the gym, playing football, and travelling.

Payroll Specialist

Liverpool

Alyssa joined Oscar Ip & Co. in 2020 and supports our Payroll Team in delivering accurate and timely payroll services to a diverse client base. She assists with PAYE submissions, pension reports, CIS returns, and payroll setup for new employees, ensuring smooth processing in line with HMRC requirements.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Commerce from Liverpool John Moores University and brings with her a broad range of administrative and customer service experience, gained from both corporate and hospitality environments. Alyssa is known for her reliability, attention to detail, and calm approach under pressure.

Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, she supports our multilingual team and communicates effectively with clients across different sectors. Outside of work, Alyssa is a dedicated mum and a talented home cook, passionate about creating delicious meals for her family and friends.
